How to set up Nikon IPTV on MAG Box

MAG boxes use a portal instead of an app. Send support the MAC address printed on the box, add the portal URL we give you under system settings, and restart the box.

What you need

  • A MAG set-top box (for example MAG 322, 424, 524)
  • HDMI cable and internet connection
  • The box's MAC address (on the label underneath)

  • Built-in Stalker portalNo app needed: the box loads the portal directly.

No app install is required on a MAG box.

Step-by-step installation

  1. 1

    Send your MAC address

    Find the MAC address on the sticker under the box (it starts with 00:1A:79) and send it to support with your order or trial reference.

    Open system settings

    On the box, go to Settings → System settings → Servers → Portals.

  3. 3

    Add the portal

    Set Portal 1 name to Nikon IPTV and Portal 1 URL to the address support sends you. Save with OK.

  4. 4

    Restart the box

    Go back and choose Restart portal, or unplug the box for ten seconds.

  5. 5

    Wait for the portal

    The portal loads its menu with TV, movies and series sections.

Where to enter your Nikon IPTV details

For a MAG box, your access is tied to the box's MAC address. Support activates that address on the portal; you only enter the portal URL.

Recommended settings

  • Set the box's video output to match your TV (Settings → Video) for the sharpest picture.

Troubleshooting

“STB blocked” or “Your STB is not supported”
The MAC address may not be activated yet, or was typed wrong. Send support a photo of the label so we can check.
Channels buffer or freeze
Test your speed on the same device (aim for a steady 15 Mbps or more for HD, more for 4K). Move to Ethernet or 5 GHz Wi-Fi, restart the router and the device, and pause other large downloads. If only one channel stutters, try another channel and tell support which one misbehaved and when.
